Strengthening Ties: Mau-Pak Hosts Pakistan Day with President and PM of Mauritius
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, the Mau-Pak Association, in close collaboration with the High Commission of Pakistan in Mauritius, proudly hosted a grand celebration aimed at strengthening the bonds between Pakistan and Mauritius.
Although Pakistan Day is traditionally observed on March 23rd, this year’s event was held on April 14th due to the Ramadan period. The evening brought together an esteemed audience including H.E. Prithvirajsing Roopun, President of the Republic of Mauritius, Hon. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius, and H.E. Syed Zahid Raza, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Mauritius.
One of the key highlights of the celebration was the official launch of Mau-Pak’s website — mau-pak.org. The newly unveiled platform was personally presented by the High Commissioner to both the President and Prime Minister, showcasing Mau-Pak’s mission, initiatives, and commitment to promoting trade, education, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two nations.
The event marked not just a celebration of national pride, but a significant step forward in fostering cooperation, mutual understanding, and long-term partnerships.
