The MAU-PAK Association is a dedicated platform focused on fostering strong and lasting ties between Mauritius and Pakistan. Our mission is to promote collaboration between the people and businesses of both nations, particularly in the areas of trade, commerce, and cultural exchange. We work closely with key organisations like the Pakistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to create mutually beneficial opportunities that drive economic growth and strengthen community bonds.

Mohammed Iqbal BELATH
PRESIDENT
A veteran banker and former Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Mr. Iqbal Belath has secured over four decades of expertise in the Mauritian Banking and Finance Industry with significant international exposure. Mr. Belath launched his career at HSBC Mauritius in 1974 and had 30 years of escalating responsibilities. He also served as Country Manager for Habib Bank Ltd before taking office as Second. Deputy Governor of the Bank of Mauritius in 2010 till 2013. Mr. Belath continues to meaningfully contribute to the growth of the Finance Industry through various directorship roles in both domestic and offshore companies.

Tsang Fan Kwet (Jacques) TSANG MANG KIN
VICE-PRESIDENT
Mr. Tsang is a practicing barrister in Mauritius since 1978. He was admitted to The Honorable Society of Lincolns Inn in 1976.He studied for his BSc Economics at the London School of Economics. Mr. Tsang was the director of a trust and management company licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of various asset management and protected cell companies.

Mohammud Reza LALLMAHOMED
SECRETARY
Actually Plant Manager in a unit producing sugar cane extract antioxidant powder in the Omnicane Group. Formerly Process Manager in the sugar cane refinery in the same group. Thirty years plus experience and career geared towards production from textile (Island Clothing Ltd), fertilizers (MCFI Ltd), animal feed ( Meaders Feed Ltd), Bio-Ethanol ( Alcodis Ltd) and now cane industry (Omnicane Group).

Abdool Samad Rossaye
TREASURER
Mr.Rossaye graduated in 1990 with a degree in pharmacy and has been a dedicated healthcare professional ever since. In 1992, he took the entrepreneurial leap and opened his first pharmacy, which continues to thrive today. With a focus on personalized care and community service, Mr.Rossaye now operates two well-established locations at Soflo Mall and Forest Side. For over three decades, Mr.Rossaye has been committed to providing quality pharmaceutical services to his customers.

Tariq Shah SOHAWON
ASSISTANT TREASURER
Mr.Sohawon is the Managing Director of Polytol Paints Ltd, a leading paints manufacturer and distributor in Mauritius.Mr. Sohawon holds an MBA in Marketing from Dundee University in Scotland. After working few years in a textile group as marketing executive, he joined Polytol as marketing manager in 1998. He is responsible for sales and marketing management and overall strategic business development of the company. Mr. Sohawon is also member of Business Mauritius (previously Mauritius Employers Federation) and Mauritius Institute of Directors.
